Italy (along w/JAPAN) put out some of the most CRAZED hardcore ever. Possessed singers, outta control drummers and guitarist that gave Eddie Van Halen a run for his money summed up most of these bands. DECLINO,INDIGESTI,UNDERAGE,INFEZIONE and a LONG list others EARLY material is similar to NEGAZIONES(i.e. F**KING barely in control). Beware though, like Boston (the city) alot of these bands including NEGAZIONE went metal. Most of their later material(after ‘86) stunk so bad it made you almost forget how good they once were. Odd, how common that was across Italy especially with the bigger bands. Thanks stunt, this rules !!!!!!

Before Negazione = 5# Braccio (Quinto Braccio). One song (Mai Piu’ Tortura) on the euro-anarcho-core compilation ep: Papi, Queens, Reichkanzlers and Presidennti with Irah (Italy), Total Chaos (UK), Kaaos (Finland), Sottocultura, Kollettivo (Italy), Stromsperre (W.Germany). 1984 compilation from the “Free Minded Europeans Land”, on Attack punk Records from Torino.
Mai Piu’ Tortura is a short hardcore song with a crazy guitar riff. Mai Pui Tortura/Nelle Galere…/Tortura democratica legalizzata ormai/ etc…
Second ep and first lp of Negazione were produced by -i think so- Dorf from the Amsterdam well know BGK.
A good post of one of the master of the eurocore. Check their cd compilation on their web site.
So 7inchpunk, you make a really good job. Long life !

They had that great almost-loose aggressive sound that Italy seemed to do so well in the early 80’s…
My band played a few gigs with them in 1986 - nice people…

A classic. Just a pity about the gaps between the tracks when they segue into each other. I’d be eternally grateful if someone would put up their 2nd 7″ as I haven’t heard it for years. From all accounts they were amazing live. Check out the “Furious Years” CD with tons of early Italian HC 7″s if you can find it.

Thank you Stunt–whoever you may be-aqnother one I taped off our amazing”Record Collectors are Pretentious Arseholes”public radio show(think it was hosted by Gary from Death Sentence and Russell from Vicious Circle)then proceeded to wear the tape out.Never ever thought I’d hear it again-let alone be able to simply download for free!!!
