I remember seeing The Misguided play with Circle Jerks on the Bowery when this single was released and they were great live. The group started to mature into a really fun fusion of NYHC and hard pop at this time and you can hear it on this ep.
The Misguided didn’t get much love but I liked them. Yes, their first single is a little harder. I think they became Das Damen.
Yup I remember The Misguided. This band was one of the first five hardcore groups in New York City and better than most hardcore groups that came after them. No silly posturing just wild teenage angst came of the stage when they played.
