WINTERSWIJK CHAOS FRONT - S/T 7″ (Krottenbeat Records) ‘86
Winterswijk is a small town in the Netherlands nearby the dutch/german border, which has a very active scene back in the 80s/early 90s.
W.C.F. stands in one line w/ all those great 80s dutch HC/Punk bands like LÄRM, B.G.K., GEPOPEL or PANDEMONIUM.
The 7″s comes in a BLACK plasticbag (size is about 8″), which is printed with a white WINTERSWIJK CHAOS FRONT logo. After all the years the logo cracks piece by pieces away. ;)
The 7″ was released in 1986 by Krottenbeat Records (I think it was the d.i.y. label from the bands itself, but I´m not quite sure)
Enjoy…
Tracks
Systems Kill
Try To Find
Kanker Tyfus
Cry Scream
The Crow Cry
Chesspieces
PS: Someone make some new categories, please! I can upload more old dutch 7″s and of course old 7″s from Germany

i’ve been trying to find a copy of this for quite sometime. thanks for posting it!!! i thought this came out in 84? i guess i was mistaken.
@ terrorshock:
The lyrics sheet says it was recorded at the 2nd and 3th of june, re-mixed at the 16th of october, 1986!

This ep is the only release they did on their own label Krottenbeat on 5OO copies. There is supposed to be a demotape earlier allthough the bandmembers themselves don’t seem to remember.
WCF had a strong link with the squat/gigplace Chi Chi club early to mid 80’s and quit playing after some drugrelated problems with the singer.
One heck of a great band, watch out for the official re-issue on noise and distortion records.
COOL!! ive had this record since the late 80’s (mail-ordered it from Blacklist), but ive NEVER seen this scan you have of the outer bag-THANKS!!!
a total killer, with “systems kill” & “chesspieces” still being the best tracks on it.GREAT STUFF!!
Used to listen that one a lot. Less important than Lärm or BGK, but still a good one. i think i have some live of WCF at this Chi Chi’s squatt.
yes, it they are less important in the sense of not as well known, but musically this group is totally under rated
