STOSSTRUPP - Kein Schoener Land 7″ (Rock-O-Rama) ‘83
STOSSTRUPP from Leverkusen (Germany) releases this 7″ (RRR 21), the “Wie lange noch?” LP (RRR20) and 3tracks on the “Die Deutschen kommen” Compilation LP (RRR 8 ) all on the “famous” Rock-O-Rama Records, which started as a “normal” punk-label, but were turned a few years later in a fascist/rascist/nazi/white power label, but all their punkrecords (OHL, RAZORS, COTZBROCKEN, M.A.F. etc. etc.) are classics in germany, they have all this typical, snotty Rock-O-Rama “productions” like you´ll hear on the STOSSTRUPP 7″.
Tracks
Neue Welt
Neos
Kein Schner Land
Im Namen Des Volkes
PS: The song “Neo´s” was a anti-nazi-song. The lyrics were printed on the backside of the cover. The one from the “Neo´s” song were crossed out w/ a big black pen on my 7″

In the Pogografie Book it is also stated that the lyrics to ‘Neo’s’ were crossed out.Probably all copies have the same ‘mutilation’.Stupid Rock-O-Rama idiots!!Seems they were getting serious about the white power stuff at that point.
Hi bomber
this is an absolute great record - unfortunately the last two tracks are affected by very bad skips…
would it be possible to post these again,or is the damage irreparable..?
Hey Leffe,
there are defenitly some copies left with uncensored lyrics on the backcover, but only a fistful I think.
I don’t think that Egolt censored the Lyrics because of his affection for nazi-rock, this was a bit later. The lyrics of “Neos” compares members of the political party which was reigning in Germany in ‘83 with the nazis of the 3rd Reich. The Lyrics of “Im Namen des Volkes”, in which Stosstrupp offer to “hang the judges and state lawyers” is also censored on my copy. I think Egolt was afraid of getting trouble with the authorities and censored the lyrics bacause of this.
i had this ep and the lp on rock o rama i think.karl scapegoats brought it over when he visited me in the 80s.not a classic by any means but a worthwhile post thanx
loller (drums)from “Stosstrupp” is brought back to life! together with me as the former guitarist from “Oberste Heeresleitung/O.H.L.” + “Riesen” and Guido from dox4sale we formed a new band.
as “Warren D. Havelock” (silly name with a good story behind it) we also perform “Im Namen des Volkes” and our 1st gig will be on may 20th 2009 in the AJZ in wermelskirchen germany together with “Failsafe” from Britain.
Herbert Egold died some years ago and althought he startet producing some real legendary bands in the very beginning of the german punk movement, we was just a great bastard and we every now and than visit his grave to piss on him.
