great ep. is rollins singing?
“My girlfriend asks me which one I like better
Six pack!
I hope the answer wont upset her
Six pack!”
Such a great lines, hahaha.
By the way, the singer is Dez Cadena.
Hmmm. wore out the B side of this fine record. Like I’ve said before, Dez is the best!!!! Do you see my point??? Not to say that the others weren’t great, it’s just that Dez is the best. Hahaha.
Sure, this is the AT press, but it’s still in print. Why bother posting common stuff that’s WIDELELY available? LAME.
Couldn’t agree more!!
What couldnt you agree more about? That this post is ‘LAME’? This post and any other post you find here are not about how rare or outta print something might be, its all about spinning some great old wax.
Hey DNGNZ you know what’s common? You, you ungrateful jerk. Please go somewhere else.
Why on earth would you complain about anything regarding Flag?
Ugh, it’s common because it’s always been in print on SST…which means you could actually go buy one. Weird concept in this exciting day of rare MP3 collecting, I know. I am all for trading mp3s of rare records that are long gone, but when a record is still available from a legitimate source (your ideas about SST aside), it’s dirty pool.
Have you had a chance to check out the SST Records foreign mailorder shipping rates? Maybe till they lower them I might start to care. I’ve owned this single since ‘81, me not being of record nerd status I didnt know it was still available from a legitimate source. And what would be so ‘dirty pool’ about this post? I will take the post down if you are that offended by the way this site operates.
No need to get so hot, all I’m saying is that the artist and label deserve to be paid for their efforts and art, if at all possible. I would not go so far as to actually remove the post, but I do think print status should be factored into the decision on whether or not to post a record.
Good points DNGNZ…I can’t speak for everyone but I have given SST and Flag my share of support over the years with my purchases. Just bought some records last month actually. Do you think that in the end there may actually be a net gain for SST and Flag by having this available record posted and stoking people and getting them talking about it/seeing the cool art etc.? I don’t know for sure, I’m just posing the question.
No denying it’s a classic single though.
ONE THING YOU GUYS MUST REALISE IS: THERE ARE MANY NEW YOUNG PEOPLE GETTING INTEREST IN PUNK MUSIC EVERYDAY, SO FOR YOU THIS CAN BE LAME BECAUSE STILL AVAILABLE (in thre begin I used to agree with that idea, that you should only put rare, hard to find 7″ here) BUT FOR THESE KIDS THIS IS A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO LISTEN SOME GREAT RECORDS THAT THEY NEVER HEARD BEFORE. I’M 38 NOW AND I HAVE FRIENDS OF 17, 18 AND I FEEL HAPPY TO SHARE WITH THEM MY COLLECTION AND THIS SITE IS GREAT FOR THIS.
Hey RATOSECO! I’ve seen you on soulseek, ha ha ha! I think you might have banned me and so I banned in you in return. Btw, Peter Swedenhammar’s name on soulseek is “Peter” cuz he contacted a user on there named Urinal Cake and asked for permission to use his name for a Flakes tune!! What a dumb swede!!!
Whois Peter Swedenhammar? And why does he have anything to do with Black Flag? Please tell.
Black Flag is a great band.
