DISCHARGE - Live In Preston 7″
Alright folks, here it is. Mega-rare (limited to 230 copies) live 7″ from 1980. Poor sound quality, but if you know the songs they’re recognizable. The selling point is of course the unreleased track “Where’s Our Freedom”. Ok, enough said. Enjoy the noise not music.
Tracks
Realities Of War
Fight Back
They Declare It
Ain’t No Feeble Bastard
War’s No Fairytale
Where’s Our Freedom

Holy shit! I have never heard of, nor seen this before. Was it released in 1980??? If you have an extra copy laying around, collecting dust, please let me know!
Great to see something that i have never seen or even knew exsisted…thanks for sharing this one!
It was recorded in 1980, but I think it was released a few years ago. Supposedly it was only available in Japan.
I can never get enough vintage Discharge. Anyone have that live Nottingham ‘83 bootleg EP? I foolishly traded mine away years ago and still kick myself for it– it’s Pooch on guitar, but the sound is good and it’s a solid set of “Hear nothing…”-era violence. Numbered out of around 300 and allegedly released by Kalv of Heresy.
Likewise never knew about this one. Thanx for sharing. Don’t know how available it is but there’s also an LP of their first London gig @ the Music Machine in October ‘80. Again sound quality is fuckin’ awful but it’s another must have item!
Amazing! Thank you! I’m from Ukraine, ex-USSR and I’m looking for Attack’and Varukers early EPs, like Today’s generation, I Don’t wanna be a victim, Led to the slaughter. If someone has it, could he post it here?
the best punk band of all time .nuff said
Interesting but it is shite! I can rave all night about the greatness of Discharge, but this is only for the “can´t bother about anything else than the thousand of studs that I got on me Leather jacket”.
Now go and enjoy the EATER post!
You’d have to be mad to listen to this more than once but afterall Digcharge is Noise Not Music so their listeners probably don’t care.
I listened to this on repeat for ages when I downloaded it. Don’t generally like live records at all, but some bands just suit the rawness. Early Discharge is a prime example, as is Negative Approach– the live tracks on that “Total recall” CD are fucking lethal.
despite the raw quality of the sound this is a good ep (of the greatest punk band ever).
says thanks to no fucker…
does have any connection to the new york d-beat band of the same name?

No, it’s just a crazy coincidence.
I have never heard or seen this, wow. I have that Lp, their first live London show, the sound quality is pretty good, well, its not as bad as this.
I think this is my favorite thing i’ve heard from them so far…in all honesty the poor quality helps for me…nice songs with great raw production (or no production).
Especially for you screaming noise (and everyone else of course) I’ve just added 2 really poor quality Discharge recordings from 1982 to my 4shared folder. Enjoy!
what label was this released on?
WHERE’S MY ROYALTIES?
We spent all of it on a pack of smokes…thanks.
