W.T.G. - Don’t They (Papa Whopper Records) 1987
St. Louis band “Whoppers Taste Good” (or W.T.G.) put out their FC/BM (food-core/beer-metal) EP “Don’t They?” in 1987. The music’s a bit sludgy with some heavy metal riffs and there are some goofy lyrics to go along with it. Their second record, “Haunting White Castle”, came out in 1988. One of the band members put out a zine titled “Motion Sickness”.

I found this about six months ago myself. Kind of funny “metal-core” with some decent riffs and power. It’s a fun change of pace and offers something a bit different than the rest of the pack. Not a bad addition to a collection.
Thanks for the post!
Glad to see someone else enjoyed these guys. Did they put anything else out besides the two 7″s?
