ack ack ack ack is fantastic - but sounds a bit weird after hearing the minutemen version; it seems really epic at 58 seconds! Great stuff though

Brilliant band, saw them on a reunion tour about six or seven years ago. Really nice guys as well! They later changed their name to 100 Flowers and appeared on the CLAZZIK “Hell Comes to Your House” compilation…

Great! The Minutemen are one of my all-time favorites–anyone who already hasn’t–check out the Minutemen Docufilm “We Jam Econo”. Anyway, I can see how much the Urinals influenced the M-Men…I’d definately go see these guys, should they ever do another reunion. In the meantime, many thanks for this one!

I love the Urinals/100 flowers stuff. I took my daughter to see one of their reunion shows when she was about 5 or so. Normally i drink lots of beer at shows, but that day I drank coffee and drew pictures with my daughter while watching The Urinals.

[…] Notes: >>Check out Happy Squid records and the Urinals here. >>100 Years of Pulchritude is out of print. I’m hoping that with the recent reissue of Keats Rides A Harley, the Urinals old material, and new Urinals album that this once again sees the light of day. >>You can find the Urinals second 7″ @ 7InchPunk. Good Music for Bad, Bad Times has the 3rd Urinals single. Somebody probably has the first one posted somewhere, but I’m too lazy to search for it. […]

Oh! I had no idea that Urinals were 100 Flowers - It’s an education everyday.
