Peter And The Test Tube Babies - Banned From The Pubs (no future Oi4) ‘80

1978 the 15-years old Peter, Trapper, Derek and Ogs form the band in South England’s Brighton. Two years later they got a record deal with No Future Records. Same year their first single Banned From the Pubs reaches the Top Ten of the UK Indiecharts and 1982 the debut album Pissed & Proud hit number 1 in the UK Indiecharts. The next records were released on their own Trapper Records which was launched in 1983.

Awesome guys and great band. Had the pleasure of touring with them in 98 in the US. Live they were great!!!!

One of the few No Future records I didn’t buy. Back in the day as I thought it wasn’t serious enough. I wanted harder street oi stuff like Blitz or political Crass bands. P&TTTB are a good example of the diversity of punk and a reminder to keep an open mind.
