This record floors me even today - just awesome
Purchased this when it was released, gave it to a friend the same day. Just sounded like all the generic hardcore bands back then. Sorry, just not for me. Thanks for this incredible site.
True American Hardcore classic!! Have to differ with theonlytruepunk in that this is not generic. There’s so much pace and energy in this record.
And besides, they’re back!! http://nx.motherbuster.com/main.shtml

These guys have done about 4 reunion shows over the last 16 months. They still kick much ass, but they can’t match their speed from back in the day. Anyone in Atlanta that went to shows in the 80’s remembers NX as they put us on the HC map. Great record! Many thanks for the post.
I don’t know, I guess I have to go with theonlytruepunk on this one. I’m not sure what I’m missing because this is always designated as a classic. Fast hardcore used to be all I liked and even then it didn’t appeal to me.
the first second of first song shot my brain out of my head. Another underrated pioneers of extreme hardcore. Thanx for post.
Absolutly stunning slab, used to have a bootleg version of this 7″ but only the gods know where I misplaced it…So this is very welcome. Classic ultra speed hi energy US Hardcore!!
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and definitely NOT generic. This cooks, especially for the time and place it was released.
Another virtually unknown gem , unearthed for masses…….Thanks!!
i saw their first reunion show in december of 04 they were good there is some unreleased stuff i think one of the guys who runs douchemaster records has it but i’m not sure if it is ever going to be put out
This is too great… I was just at the Neon Christ website and they had a bunch of random mp3s up for download. I sent them an email asking them to post Parental Suppression if possible. Then I thought, hmmm, maybe 7inch Punk has it in their archives. So I pop over here and there it is, posted just a couple of days. DAMN I love this website. Cheers!
their drummer is a teacher at my school
