WEIRDOS - We Got The Neutron Bomb (Dangerhouse sp 1063) ‘77
The best Dangerhouse 7″ ????? Man, that label has alot of “bests” but none that still sound as great as this one.
They got labeled ” americas first punk band” but distanced themselves from the monicker claiming ” we’re not punks, we’re WEIRDOS from hollywood”
This is their first release and still sounds as relevent as the day it was put out.

This is one of the first punk records I owned. It was given to me by an ex-girlfriend who was older than me and just happened to be “outgrowing” punk. She gave me a small box of 7″s that included this one, X-adult books, DICKIES-gigantor, The DAMNED-neat neat neat and a bunch of other local and unknown stuff. At the time, The only thing I LOVED outta that box was the weirdos and the damned. The songs on the weirdos 7″ gave me a boner and still do today.The other stuff grew on me over time and are still some of my favorites
So yeah stunt, I’ll agree……..FUCKING CLASSIC!!
By the way, I still own all the records from that little box, Thanks to Michelle for outgrowing punk
and starting me on a long, cool adventure.
