SVART FRAMTID- 1984 ep (X-port Plater x001) ‘84
From Oslo, Norway, SVART FRAMTID (black future) is another Norwegian band I know absolutely nothing about.
I sorta stumbled across the 7″ while looking for the awesome BANNLYST 7″ and I thought it was just as good, if not better than anything I had heard from Norway at that point. Other than this release, SVART FRAMTID were on a coulple of comps, one of which was “BLITZ - 10 ÅR PÅ PUR FAEN” cd which is a 10 year anniversry/benefit show for a Norwegian venue. The compilation featured live tracks from, among others, BANNLYST, BOYEN BENG and SO HUCH HATE. There is also an early demo that I hear someone is supposedly releasing with the bands permission?

i’ve heard a lot of good things about this 7″, but don’t think I’ve heard it until now. not a ripper like the bannlyst offerings I’ve heard, but it’s good! the kind of record you can play over and over again and not get bored of it (i keep playing these mp3s again, and again……) interesting/creative musically and vocals remind me of raw power. norway bands rock!
this release is total killer! heres my little info about svart framtid: 3 of the members formed kafka prosess along with some dude from bannylist also

very very punk & raw, another new one to my ears although the name is legend. thx again Surly!
vocalist Gunnar Nuven played in feber(released a 7″in 1981).after kafka prosess he was in so much hate.There also exist some live SF- tapes and a three track demo and appeared in a tv movie -you aint got a chanse- take it!,with the legendaric song snuteterror(with help of vocalist from betong hysteria)
