D.T.A.L. - Time to Die 7″ (atomrecords 001) ‘83

Out of “Landskrona”, Sverige, Dr. Tjock & Atomligan delivere 6 exquisite hc tunes for yours to enjoy. I’d say this (1st) 7″ blows their 2nd 7″ ‘a beautiful day’ completely away in terms of sheer hardcore power.
As for the recording/release date : neither the record sleeve or insert reveals a date so I did my homework and tried to verify my ‘gut feeling’ that this ripper was actually released in ‘83. I assumed it wouldn’t be too hard to solve this matter given the number of releases which are holding at least one, or several tracks. However, after I plunged into my records and inspected the “really fast vol. 4 comp. lp/the “Varning för punk cd 1″ or the “let’s start a riot in Sweden vol.2 ” the answer’s still missing.

P.s. :I believe this 7″ got bootlegged in its entirety only once (on the ‘hardcore elitserien’ vol. 1 bootleg lp, limited to 300 copies, just like the other 2 in this series. From what I’ve heard vol. 1,2 & 3 were never sold/distributed outside Japan. Please correct me if I’m wrong).
If you don’t have the original 7″ yet & got way too much money to spend (happens to me all the time, har, har!) : check out ebay (where else??) : EBAY

Tracks
time to die
fucking nappe
doomsday
human or refuse
starving
mistake

Well, I think it got released in ‘84. Their 2nd EP, released one year later, is also brilliant.

The drummer was a former BRISTLES member.

This EP is a rager for sure.

This one was released in -84 for sure. 1065 copies! We recorded 13 tracks, mixed the shit, everything on a 4-channel Tascam tape-recorder in 12 hours. I’m the one who played the bass…or should be. We had no 4-string motherfucker at the time so all my bassplaying were made on a distorted electric guitar instead with treble on “0″ (shhh, secret…).
