WRETCHED - In Nome Del Loro Potere Tutto E` Stato Fatto EP (Autoproduzione) ‘83

1st EP by this classic Italian thrash unit. Very interesting production that sounds like they recorded each track at a different time. Still, this record totally burns something fierce. I don’t know for sure how many were pressed originally, but I heard it was a reasonable amount (over 1000 possibly). Export copies came with the lyrics and statements translated into English.

Tracks
La Logica del Potere
Spero Venga la Guerra
Combatti
Muori Per la Patria Muori per Niente
Solo Guerra
Nessun Diritto
Ti Obbligano ad Obbedire
Non Posso Sopportare

Great band. My favorite Italian band after Raw Power, Negazione & Diperazione!

anyone remember the “Music On Fire” cassette with these cuts? Savage. exhaustive & bleak packaging as always. that back cover photo looks kinda like Cleveland. thanks for the great post.

seriously, one of the world’s best hardcore bands in ‘83. this kills……. wish i had the 7″… have to settle for the discography on digital audio cd format… rock.

I think this is probably my favourite WRETCHED record, and that’s saying something…I love the fact that the production is all over the place, it just sounds totally cool in thses days of pristine production. The engineer probably didn’t have a clue about punk rock as was the norm at the time. Totally gnarly hardcore to the max!!!

A fucking classic..I got this ep when I was about 17 and got the Wretched Logo tatooed on my arm a month later..I am glad I am not the only one who noticed the strange production ..it was most likely done in 2 or more different sessions and studios..I have yet to hear the last ep by these guys ..is it any good??

These to me were one of my top 5 all time bands from the 80’s! Thier 1st 3 7″EP’s (one was a split w/Indigesti)and “Libero Di Vivere..” LP are just pure raw and ready pummeling thrash. I’m just glad they haven’t done owt silly by jumping the bandwaggon and reforming like a lot of the classics. This 7″ is so god damn amazing. I just wish someone would re-release this, as well as the “Finira Mai?” and split w/Indigesti, on its original format - 7″ VINYL!!!!

Am i the only one who noticed that this cover is the same cover of the album “retaliation” by carnivore?
