LANCE LOT-Eat the dream flexi (Stomping Records) 1987
Another completely raging flexi from a virtually unknown Japanese band.
I happened across this while tape trading with a friend in Japan and got a clean cassette copy of it.
I know almost nothing about the band and besides an apperance on the “Hardcore Showcase” lp (2 songs-Stomping recs 1989), I’m pretty sure they didn’t release anything else. The sound quality of my upload is a bit rough cuz it’s from the aforementioned cassette tape, but hell, it’s a 20 plus year old flexi anyhow………enjoy!!!

This one was the 4th Stomping Rds release in 1987 not 1985… Still a very good record thuogh and not very well known, outside of Japan of course.
Other records on Stomping were Dead Person flexi and 1st Vomits flexi.
this record was recorded in ‘85 but possibly released in ‘87.great band by the way.
actually, i dont think it came out until early 1988, but thats a minor quibble. it totally RIPS!!ive also got both VOMITS flexis (kinda sound like Sendai-Citys answer to LAUGHIN’NOSE), once i get the other stuff i got ripped, ill post those,ok??

and,PLEASE!! quit tempting me with stuff only available on auctions.yahoo.co.jp !! my finances are MINIMAL (to say the least), but i could COMPLETE my japan punk collection there!! unfortunately, those sellers dont realize/understand that non-Japanese REALLY want that stuff!!! AAAARRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Yep, those Yahoo Japan auctions are a source of frustration. Some bargains for sure but no easy way for non-Japanese speakers to navigate or bid.
Glad to see i’m not the only foreigner to navigate onto those Japan Yahoo auctions, great obscure stuff over there, it make my wantlist growing actually.

I’m a brother of the base player of Lance Lot. Lance Lat was playing around mid 80’s at Boredom Market in Sendai-city with Vomits and “Eat the dream” was recorded in/around 1986. All memners of Lance Lot were 16 years old when recording. Ha Ha Ha. They were just local punk kids in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, Japan.

Actually, they were playing as Lance Lot in/around 1984-1988, and “Eat the Dream” was recorded in 1986 in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, Japan, which is their home town.
When “Eat the Dream” was recorded, they were just 16years old. Ha Ha Ha.
On the other hand, they were mainly playing with Vomits at Boredom Market in Sendai-city. Do you have any question?
