Bones - In a Sick Society EP (1983)
Great Japanese hardcore punk in the vein of GISM, Baws, Lip Cream and Zouo. I don’t know much about this group except the music is powerful and kicks ass. You can’t go wrong with this one!
Tracks
Insanity
Cops Working Hard
Sex!
Barmy Rat

Thanks! Been wanting to hear this for awhile. I don’t know much about the band, except that several members went on to form the mighty S.O.B.!
Great, ramcharging J-core………………
Released on noise room records (MOBS,ANTISEPTIC etc) in 1985. I think there were 1200 pressed. I also believe this was their only release, except the song “insanity” was on the NAGASAKI NIGHTRIDERS comp lp (a bootleg).
oohh shit yea i forgot to put the label that its on…. oops!
they formed SOB?? damn!
i remember once seeing a split 10″ with the BONES & some other band (Japanese Name) hanging on the wall at a shop in Japan ages ago…white sleeve with red printing…way too expensive for me…nobody else seems to know anything about this one…any info??
I know that only Toshimi the guitar player went in SOB, the drummer Uncle Tom/Funnyara went in W.P. City Indian. About their sound this one reminds me a lot of the Clay. Great EP, mostly the A side!
great memories thanx for the post
