By the way, the cover was made by Jeff Belch of B.P.

When I moved from England to Sarasota I met Eric of Belching Penguins. He had a Band called Klegg that played stuff like Pantera. He was a great guitarist. Unfortunately I heard he died in a motorcycle accident. His brother is a DJ on the Tampa 98 Rock station.

Eric Blackmon is still very alive and well, thankfully. The DJ on 98 Rock is actually Belching Penguin’s drummer, Ron Miller. They got back together last year for a reunion show in Tampa.

Totally underated one, compared to No Fraud and B.P. This EP was pressed in 86 (1000 copies), and if I’m not wrong this one was released before No Fraud, anyway sure the music is from 85. I don’t have the EP with me right now but I’m pretty sure there’s no release date on the cover or insert. After the band spitted up (?) Danny the bass player went in the army to Japan and there he played guitar with SIC, he was on the split with Rose Rose.

I saw these guys at my first punk show back in ‘84 (just a bunch of local punk bands playing at the American Legion). The cops broke the show up in the middle of the set! I remember they did a great version of The Dictators’ “Faster and Louder.”
