One of, if not thee best H.C. bands ever. Yeah, they brought the funk and some other tender moments, but goddamn when they were on, they were unmatched. Ask or read about any of the legends of the time(minor threat, black flag etc.) and they cite the big boys as an influence(maybe not musically but inspirationally). This 7″ shows the begining of it all. Owning all the big boys records is mandatory if you wanna call yourself a punk.
I saw these guys at the Thrasher Skate Rock Vol 1 record release party with JFA the Skoundrelz and a ton of other skaterock bands. They were by far the best.Biskit came out at in a drag clown outfit and blew the crowd away. Still ranks as one of my favorite bands of all time.
BB were always fun live.
The whole “We’ve got your money in our hands” thing was always curious to me. I guess, it’s about being punk and tricking the audience into paying? I dunno.
the line is “and to all you frat boys… weve got your money in our hands” shows were probably attended by drunken frat dudes from the local college
Dude, come on, they were ripping on the UT frat boys that constantly fucked with them and called them fags all the time. Then those same dipshits came to a show! Hahaha! “We got your money in our hands!” Get it now??
Anyway, RIP Biscuit, I’m glad that I got to see you and shake your hand. BIG BOYS NEVER DIE!!!!
links’re broken. but big boys are always good.
