Great 90’s ARIZONA HC. This band plays an intense & ultra fast hc with diverse & complexe rhythms. They have their “own sound”. Here’s their first release from 1990 (Recorded december 1989). Wow! This is amazing! Just listened to it 3 times in a row. Totally original! Melody AND speed! Definately gonna track down more of their stuff, best shit i’ve heard for ages!
Great EP, kinda reminded me of Generic (from Leeds). Anyway it made me get the fuck away from this lap-top and actually play some old records!!
I fucking love this record. I live in Arizona and barely anyone here even knows of Malignus Youth. This self-titled is hard as shit to find since I’m from the same state and still haven’t found it anywhere. They have a myspace profile (which I’m pretty sure is just a fan page) with some cool videos and pics of them.
But yeah… great stuff for being from Arizona. We have a lot of shitty bands and only few good ones. Arizona is a neighboring state of California, but if you compared how many good bands came from both states during the 80’s, it’s pathetic to see how far behind we were. This EP is the definition of a gem.

The guy from the Flex Discography site missed this one! This EP and their Crisis EP and Move To It LP are classics of unique AZHC! Wished I could have seen these kids back then.
