stupid collectors!
Agreed. I’ve seen it go for $900-1000 before. But, $2K is nuts. Of course, this one’s listed as M-/M- and Misfits stuff will continue to commnad top bucks Also, from what I read on another message board frequented by some hardcore (in both senses of the word) collectors, this buyer throws some money around.
P.S. I paid $4.00 for my copy.

Crazy shit!! Some people have got more money than sense. I downloaded mine, burnt it on a CD and printed the cover images for fuck all, and that’s good enough for me - a vinyl rip that’ll never wear out. I hope the postman nicks it!!!
hah, Bill. I hope the winning bidder sees your comment.
Too much damn money.
the irony is i just recently told someone i know “y’know man, i’d pay $2026 to erase THE MISFITS from history”.
2026 dollars for that record is a steal. if i had money to burn, you can bet i will do it buying the records that make other people shake their heads!!
and really 2026.oo isnt that much to spend on something if you really want it. have any of you watched that antiques roadshow?? people pay WAY more money for WAY stupider things than records.
(in my opinion..)
oh, and mines a bootleg. 7 bucks, vinyl solution.
i think i would drop $2026 USD for a test-press of the TYPHUS flexi if i had the money, but i dont right now, so i never will…go ahead & bitch all you want. theres a TON of old records that command insane ammounts of money on the “collectors” market & that goes for any style/genre of music from any era. if you dont want to pay that kind of cash, DONT!!! nobody’s putting a gun to your head!! if you really want a copy of this 45, theres been about 5 or 6 different bootleg/counterfiet versions produced over the last 20 years; each successive one has better graphics & sound quality. get a clean bootleg!! shouldnt cost you more than $8~10 !! download that “ultra-rare” demo!! dig thru your local flea market!! just DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT HIGH PRICES!!! the music & packages are out there if you want them, but theres some people who have the finances to drop 3-months rent for a 45. God bless ‘em!! ill continue to love the music i love, collect the records i love, and keep my house full of 1000’s of GREAT records while i REFUSE to pay more that $25~30 for ANYTHING (well, ok, if i could get thet damn Typhus test pressing, ill become a hypocrite…BUT THATS NOT THE POINT!!…or maybee that 1st ABURADAKO 12″…)
