Crow - Who Killed Dove? 7″ (Self Released) 1986
Crow (Osaka) delivers four outstanding tracks on this first 7″ titled “Who Killed Dove?”
All tracks on here are perfectly executed hardcore songs taking the same approach as Zouo, Mobs and Anti Septic but including a more present Discharge influence. The gloomy guitar and bass tone in this record mixes very well with the gruff vocals and precise drumming. Pay special attention to the title track, which stands out the most to me for having cool back up vocals. By the way, look for their “Last Chaos” LP which rules too.

keep in mind these guys released and continue to release many records and comps. they put out an lp this year or last year with ironfist hiroshima (gism) on drums if im not mistaken. i havent heard that lp yet tho
The last Crow record “Bloody Tear” is awesome. I have the Mangrove (Japan) CD release and the US vinyl on Prank Records (buy Prank Records!). It’s got some new stuff and some tough new recordings of old songs on it. I highly recommend it. Also just had a note tonight in which I was told the band will be self-releasing a new 12″ in the near future. I’m no expert on Japanese hardcore, but this is a great band. condensed_flesh, thanks for the great posts!

These songs were also on a great boot lp that had 3 other rare japanese singles and was released in the 90’s.The comp trax are great thanx for them!
yea those comp tracks are under rated but seriously get their “last chaos” LP its very similar to this 7″ but it has very trebly production and the guitar is really noisy kinda like something disclose would do. if 12inchpunk was up id post it
