4 Walls Falling – Burn It / Happy Face 7” (Redemption Records # 03) 1992

Four Walls Falling was an American political hardcore band from Richmond, Virginia from members of Unseen Force and Pledge Allegiance. Known as one of the greatest hardcore bands from the Richmond scene, the band had major success in the hardcore community, recording four 7-inches & an EP. They played their first show with 7 Seconds and Justice League in 1987 and toured the United States in 1992. The band broke up in 1994.

This is a nice record. The band was known to be a straight edge band but instead of copying the classic style of youth crew HC they developed their very own style of of this genre with lyrics that clearly show that they were interested in more than the so-called scene with always the same talking about unity and stuff.

this was a great band and nice people. i interviwed taylor once, and he said they were huge in belgium, or holland, i don’t remember which…i believe he was serious. “food for worms” is great weird metal.

Great band. Happy Face absolutely rocks. Met Taylor in Richmond once, he was dating a friend of mine back then. Sweet guy. Another talented band that put integrity over potential fame.
